Pray for Our Suffering Brothers and Sisters in Boston

This felt very personal since our daughter has qualified for Boston for next year and plans to run. Let us pray for those who are suffering because of this senseless act.

Prayer for Victims of Terrorism

Loving God,
Welcome into your arms the victims of violence and terrorism.
Comfort their families and all who grieve for them.
Help us in our fear and uncertainty,
And bless us with the knowledge that we are secure in your love.
Strengthen all those who work for peace,
And may the peace the world cannot give reign in our hearts.

The death toll stands at three as of this evening. May the Divine Assistance always be with us and may the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. May all those injured and in pain receive restoration to health and the consolation of the Holy Spirit.
